Me: Yes, can I have a #8 with soft tacos, please, and a mountain dew?
Drive Thru Lady: we no mondo dio. do you want baja?
Me: no, just regular soft tacos. the #8.
Drive Thru Lady: i know, but no mondo dio. do you want baja?
Me: just a #8, please. they're regular soft tacos. no baja.
Drive Thru Lady: we can't do it. no mondo dio.
Me: Look, I don't understand what you're saying.
Drive Thru Lady's co-worker (over her intercom): SHE'S SAYING THERE'S NO MOUNTAIN DEW! ORDER SOMETHING ELSE!

Touring Canada with The Narrative
I’ve been spending the last week in Canada playing bass for The Narrative.
it’s been lots of fun: seeing great bands (I Am Committing A Sin and Ulysses & the Siren to name a few), making new friends, time on the road, trying new food, and of course being able to play on stage again. all in all not a bad week.

Thoughts I had on Election Day
What percentage of people actually read the official (or even the non-technical) language for the issues they are voting on before they enter the voting booth?
How many people actually read ALL of the instructions on the ballot before they enter their vote.
I’m just a bit curious.

Using public bathrooms bothers me, especially toilets. Now, there is the occasional bathroom that appears clean and up kept, but frequently I find myself in a situation using facilities where there is various amounts of waste and excrement on the urinals and toilets. it’s just unpleasant.

Why Switching from Qwerty to Dvorak is Simple
I’ve recently switched to using the Dvorak keyboard.
You can find all the benefits of switching simply by doing a quick search, and virtually all write-ups would be better than anything i could do (or would want to); so I won’t bother harping on that here.
However, whenever I talk about my switch, I find that almost everyone loves the idea, and yet I still have yet to see one...
